Endorsements from Natick's Community Leaders

I am proud to offer my enthusiastic endorsement of Kristen Pope for reelection to the Natick Select Board.

Kristen has been an exemplary colleague and a tireless advocate for the residents of Natick. During her first term, she has helped expand representation in Town government, strengthen our fiscal foundation, advance thoughtful and evidence-based policy, and keep civic engagement at the heart of everything the Board does. She brings to every discussion a collaborative spirit, strategic clarity, and a genuine commitment to making Natick work for all of its residents — not just some of them.

What distinguishes Kristen is not only what she brings to the Select Board, but who she is in this community. She and her family chose Natick nearly nine years ago because of its welcoming character and deep culture of service — and she has honored that choice by giving back at every level. Her leadership at Harvard University, her experience as an entrepreneur, her service as Board Chair of United Way Tri-County, and her prior work on the Personnel Board have all shaped a public servant who thinks rigorously, listens carefully, and leads with integrity.

There is more work to do, and I can think of no one better suited to see it through. I urge Natick voters to return Kristen Pope to the Select Board.

I am pleased to offer my enthusiastic endorsement of Kristen Pope for re-election to the Natick Select Board. Her leadership, integrity, and deep commitment to our community are clear to those of us who have the pleasure of serving with her.

I met Kristen through her husband, Richard, who joined the Finance Committee while I was serving as chair. When she first ran for Select Board three years ago, I did not yet appreciate just how exceptional she is or how fortunate our town would be to have her in public service. Since her election, Kristen has quickly mastered the complexities of local governance and has emerged as an effective leader and a thoughtful, influential voice.

In meetings, Kristen consistently brings a fresh and valuable perspective, often grounding discussions in community impact and equity. She is a strong advocate for underserved residents, and her compassion and empathy are evident in both her words and actions. She approaches her responsibilities with professionalism and follow-through, making her a reliable and trusted colleague. She has also cultivated strong relationships across our town and the broader region, reflecting both her genuine engagement and the trust she inspires.

Kristen is a sought-after speaker at local and regional events and one of the most effective networkers I know. She is intentional in building meaningful relationships and has led collaborative initiatives with Select Board members in neighboring communities. Her ability to listen deeply, foster trust, and develop inclusive solutions positions her well to continue serving our town effectively in the years ahead.

Kristen is a dedicated public servant. In my experience, she is committed to hearing from the people in the town, and acting in the best interests of the entire town. She asks insightful questions and, in doing so, improves the conversation. I heartily endorse Kristen's re-election campaign for Select Board.

I got to know Kristen on her road to getting elected to her first term on the Select Board. Since then, as a member of the School Committee, I've had plenty of opportunities to work with Kristen in her role on the Select Board and have always appreciated her fresh perspectives, open-mindedness, willingness to listen, and perhaps most importantly, her collaborative style. Nothing gets done in local government without people who are willing to serve and willing to listen and work with their community and Kristen is all of that and more. #TeamPope

Having Kristen Pope on the Select Board means that my concerns are well represented. Not

only is Kristen smart, but she is wise, an increasingly rare combination. I have watched her at

meetings as she deliberated with her colleagues and thoughtfully listened to residents with

compassion and kindness. I am heartened by the inclusive voice she embodies for Natick. Our

black children in Natick know they can serve on the Select Board because Kristen does. All

Natick children know our leadership represents them. The leadership of thoughtful women like

Kristen improves everyone’s lives, Potholes, unsafe streets, and broken down equipment don’t

stand a chance against her, I am not an engineer, for example, and I can’t be worrying about

town infrastructure at every turn, but I know Kristen is on it and knows how make sure we hire

the right people to get the job done. She knows too what it takes to retain outstanding

employees and recognizing the talents of others seems to be in her DNA. This race may be

uncontested, but the March 31st election is an opportunity for you to reaffirm her service to our

town. How blessed are we!

In every interaction I’ve had with her, I’ve been struck by her thoughtfulness, insight, and boldness in tackling the issues that matter most to our town. What impresses me most about Kristen, however, is her boundless energy and positivity! She is exactly what this town needs! I wholeheartedly support Kristen L.
